On Monday we read about how to read a timeline. First, we learned what a timeline was. Next, we learned about millennium. Then, we looked at a timeline about Chicago's early history. We also did some practice using the timeline. The last thing we did on Monday was do our workbook page on timelines. On Thursday, we talked about how people bring changes. We talked about improving transportation and building upward. We also talked about working for suffrage (the right to vote) and equality, like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. did. Lastly, we did a worksheet on how people bring changes.
